Science supporting SAC-1™

SAC-1 is protected by patents covering its manufacturing process, which ensures a high concentration in S-Allyl Cysteine (SAC), an organosulfur compound derived from the amino acid cysteine. Its impact on sleep and mental fatigue have been demonstrated in several clinical studies, which also confirm the mechanism of action on the regulation of the autonomic nervous system.

SAC-1™ improves sleep quality

A 200mg daily supplementation of SAC-1™ contributes to improving overall sleep score, driven by enhancements in sleep quality and latency.

SAC-1™ contributes to reduce mental fatigue.

               Fatigue score

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel design on 20 health subjects has been performed to determine the feeling of fatigue in everday life, after a mental load (Cognitrax). After 4 weeks of supplementation, the fatigue score is significantly decreased, with an improvement of more than 10 points of the scale, signing perceptible clinical improvement in reducing mental fatigue.  

After a mental load, SAC-1 significantly reduced fatigue score of supplemented subjects.

SAC-1™ contributes to reduce physical fatigue.

An aditionnal clinical study performed on 20 healthy subjects over 4 weeks, demonstrated that the feeling of fatigue after exercise reduced significantly with SAC-1.

SAC-1™ is safe.

No adverse event linked to SAC-1™ supplementation over the period 2008-2023 has been recorded.
