What is Sinetrol®?

Sinetrol® is a fat burning ingredient made of citrus polyphenols. Its efficacy has been proven by two clinical studies.

Sinetrol® is a patented synergetic blend of active polyphenolic compounds as flavonoids (naringin, nariturin, hesperidin,...) and anthocyanins (cyanidin 3 glycoside) from unique Mediterranean citrus selected species: Orange, Red Orange and Grapefruit.

 
 
     

Sinetrol® Health Benefits

Sinetrol® acts as a fat burner stimulating the release of free fatty acids (FFA) from the adipocytes. Sinetrol® inhibits the activity of the phosphodiesterase (PDE) which increases the catabolism of triglycerides from the adipocytes in free fatty acids and glycerol, then released in the plasma and burned by the metabolism.

First Clinical study

Protocol

A randomized, placebo, double-blind trial

  • Dose : 1.4 g/day (0.05 oz) of Sinetrol® EXP during 12 weeks
  • 4 capsules of 350 mg each, 2 in the morning and 2 during the main meal
  • Total of participants: 20 individuals
  • BMI = 29-33
  • Placebo Group  n=10 (9 women, 1 man)
  • Sinetrol®Group  n=10 (7 women, 3 men)

Results

The Sinetrol® EXP group reported a significantly (p<0.05) decreased in body weight loss (-5.2kg) and body fat variation (-14.35%) compared to people who took placebo. All these results were measured at baseline and at the end of the 12 weeks.

Second Clinical Study

Protocol

  • Dose: 0.9 g/day (0.032 oz) of SINETROL® XPur during 12 weeks
  • 2 capsules of 450 mg each during breakfast and lunch
  • Total of Participants: 95 overweight individuals
  • BMI = 26-29.9
  • 55 women and 40 men
  • Age : 22-45
  • Country : France (Paris)

  • No diet or exercise

Results

The Sinetrol® XPur group reported a significant (p<0.0001) decrease in abdominal body fat (-6.55%), waist size (-3.73cm) and hip size (-3.74cm) compared to people who took placebo.

The release of plasmatic FFA (+441 μmol/L) in Sinetrol® group demonstrates its high lipolytic activity.
